Signs of Disease in the Body
As the body becomes toxic, diseased, and infected with bacteria, heavy metals, and other detrimental substances the immune system jumps into action to stop and reverse the onset of disease. The best way the body knows how to combat these immediate concerns is by the production and use of white blood cells (leukocytes). (10) When ever theres an increased number of white blood cells in the body doctors will usually assume that some sort of health issue is prevalent.
This is an interesting phenomenon because the same thing happens when individuals eat cooked foods. Studies show that theres a direct correlation in the increased production of white blood cells and the consumption of cooked and or processed food. (11) Knowing that white blood cells are generated to collect and eliminate foreign substances (trash) from the body does this mean that the body recognizes cooked food is a foreign a substance?
In contrast studies confirm that when raw enzyme active food is consumed an increase in white blood cells does not occur. Once again the equation indicates that theres far less stress and strain on the body when enzymes, which are only obtained from raw uncooked foods, are present. This also helps preserve the body because it doesnt need to tap into its own metabolic enzymes reserve for digestion. This is a true example of a win, win situation.
The Road to Destruction
As weve learned, an increased level of white blood cells indicates a momentary disturbance in the immune system. However, low levels of metabolic enzymes indicate a potentially more serious state of affairs in the body. This state of affairs most likely indicates a heavily impaired immune system and the probable onset of disease. (12)
If a state of disease is present in the body the immune system immediately goes to work to correct the disorder. However, if the problem continues to progress and depletes the immune system and body of its essential enzymes then its only a matter of time before serious health issues arise. Its been revealed that people with chronic diseases usually have a low reserve of enzymes.
Low levels of enzymes in the body leads it improper digestion, which in turn leads to digestion problems. When digestion problems become prevalent so do the complaints. These complaints are most likely the results of IBS, acid reflux, chronic fatigue, excess weight, or more serious ailments like diabetes, fibromyalgia, or cancer. As partially digested food is left in the body via the digestive system the likelihood of disease becomes exponential and so do the odds of serious health issues. (13)
The fact is an estimated 80% of all disease is caused by the improperly digested foods. These partially or improperly digested foods deposit toxic and deadly by-products to be absorbed into the body causing a plethora of future health concerns.
